Always applied by our trained therapist at Victoria Beauty Salon London, eyelash extensions are individually applied fibres that are attached to your natural lashes to give temporarily enhanced length and volume. Our extensions are totally different from Fake lashes.
Depending on what look you’re going for, from natural, glamorous to dramatic, eyelash extensions can give the illusion of longer, fuller lashes without having to apply any mascara. Like brows, eyelashes have the power to transform your face even when makeup is minimal. They add an instant shot of glamour and sophistication that hearkens back to the timeless Hollywood screen sirens of the 40's and 50's, whose beauty was always amplified with long, perfectly fluttering doe-like lashes. And today more than ever the trend for defined brows and larger than life lashes is still dominating the beauty industry, with more and more people choosing to bin their mascaras and opt for extensions.
Made up of either synthetic or natural fibres, eyelash extensions typically last for the entire natural growth cycle of your eyelashes (approximately 2-3 months), but to keep them at full capacity you may need to have touch ups to compensate for shedding every 2-3 weeks.

Aftercare
You should avoid direct contact with water for the first 24 hours around the eye area. After that time they will be fine in water as the bonding agent is waterproof. If possible avoid direct contact with the jets of the shower on the extensions and wear goggles when swimming.
You can continue to wear make-up when you wear semi permanent lash extensions but it is important to use an oil-free make-up remover, as oil will damage the bonding agent. You will find you no longer need to use mascara, but you can use it on the tips of the lashes if you desire, but waterproof mascara is not recommended. I carry a range of after care products specifically made for eyelash extensions.
The best way to cleanse the lash line is to use warm water (previously boiled) and add a few drops of baby shampoo. Using a cotton bud or lint free cleansing applicator wipe along the lash line several times to give it a good clean, this will help to clean away any bacteria or debris that has built up. Ideally this should be done daily but at least 2 to 3 times a week. Not only will this help to keep your lashes nice and clean, but it can also help you grow your eyelashes to the maximum length that they can be. Furthermore, it’s a great preventative measure to help avoid any eyelash related health problems. Not to mention keeping your semi permanent lash extensions in top condition.
