Lycon Eyebrow Waxing
Eyebrow waxing is a quick, gentle and long lasting way to define the shape of your brows. Hair is mainly removed from in between and underneath your eyebrows. Lycon wax treatments are up to 50% less painful than other forms of waxing, due to the pre oil used to protect your delicate areas against skin removal. As such, Lycon wax treatments causes less skin irritation than shaving, depilatory creams and other forms of waxing due to the protective barrier of pre cleansing oil and comforting after care products. As the hair is removed from the root, Lycon wax treatments will give you a smoother wax. As a result there is also a longer regrowth period between treatments, lasting from 4 to 6 weeks. Lycon wax treatments is 100% hygienic. Unlike some other form of waxing, Lycon wax treatments won't leave you feeling sticky, tacky and sore. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR WAXING APPOINTMENT: - Do not remove any hair from your arm for at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment. For optimal results, it’s best that the hair is at least 1/4″ long. - Exfoliate your arm before your appointment which helps to prevent and lift out ingrown hairs to give you a smoother result. - If you have recently been sunburnt within the last 24 hours, please wait for the sunburn to heal. We cannot wax anyone who is burnt or who has been in a sun bed less than 24 hours prior to the appointment. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW AFTER YOUR WAXING APPOINTMENT: - You cannot sun bathe less than 48 hours after your waxing appointment. The skin is sensitive after being waxed and should not be burned. - Redness is completely normal! Any redness will subside after a couple of days. - The benefit of waxing lies in the fact that hair grows in less and softer than before. Do not shave in between waxing appointments. When you shave after a wax, the hair grows in thicker, which makes your next wax more painful. - Hair grows on a 28 day cycle. We recommend that you make your waxing appointments no more than 4 weeks apart. SOME EXTRAS Once your unruly eyebrows have been tamed you might want to consider other enhancements. You can have your brows and lashes tinted to draw attention to the eyes and add semi-permanent texture or use mascara and an eyebrow pen/ pencil to create the effect at home. Extensions are another way to add density to eyebrows, as you would with eyelashes. Individual fibres are stuck on in a time-consuming treatment which helps cover up any gaps whilst your own hair grows back.
